Hsinchu, Taiwan,

AUO Corporation ("AUO" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO) today announced another record high on monthly revenues and shipments. AUO's preliminary consolidated November 2005 monthly revenues broke a record high to post NT$24,207 million, while unconsolidated net sales totaled NT$24,205 million.

Limited by CCFL components supply constrains and weaker seasonal demand on the small- and medium- sized panels, both preliminary consolidated and unconsolidated revenues for the month of November 2005 increased by 0.9% sequentially. On a year-over-year basis, November 2005 consolidated revenues increased by 81.6%, while unconsolidated net sales rose by 82.1%.

Driven primarily by shipments of large-sized panels(a) for applications such as desktop monitor, notebook PC, LCD TV and other applications, the new record reached a high of 3.17 million, a 2.3% increase from October 2005. Shipments of small- and medium-sized panels declined to total 5.3 million, a 16.6 % sequential decrease due to seasonal demand.

For the eleven months ended November 30, 2005, unaudited consolidated and unconsolidated revenue totaled NT$192,796 million and NT$192,706 million respectively, representing 24.6% and 27.1% Y-o-Y growth.
